beautiful Santa Maria square, Campo de' Fiori and Piazza Navona - in one of
the most typical street in the heart of old Trastevere: Via dei Genovesi.
Based at the second floor, in a finely renovated 16th century building
(once belonged to the monastery of the Santa Cecilia's abbey) the apartment,
an 60sq mt open space, is a little jewel, decorated in an original way that
respects ancient romanic architetture mixed up with a modern urban style.
Among the many details, a restored fresco Greek fret running all around
under the ceiling like a precious frame for all the ambient, a whitened
extra long wooden staves floor, parts of ancient roman walls and a wooden
beam and bricks ceiling. And then, antique cast iron, wrought iron,
authentic doors, painted in fresco niches.
Moreover, guests will surely enjoy the two windows and the little pretty
balcony overlooked in a quiet court and from which they can admire, among
many picturesque roofs, the beautiful view of the nearby Santa Cecilia's
bell tower.
Two or four/five persons can sleep (1 or 2, even in the pretty loft) and
take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, tv set and so
on.
Or, just down the street, one can discover the most famous characteristic
roman restourants. Have a good time..
